Just returned from 2 weeks in the Vendee in the van - a 2001 Cali Westie with 208k kms on the clock. Admittedly fully loaded with holiday kit, and the engine has previously been remapped by

Had a call and a mates camper has died!!! its currently an old k reg full westfalia conversion with the 2.4d engine in it. the engine has dropped a piston/cracked summit basically fubard. BUT. will an engine and box from an 1.9d fit easily enough as my local breakers has one that could be v.cheap. dan.
